MedSpotter

60-second demo

How MedSpotter works

Find a specific medication in a pharmacy near you — and reserve it before you leave home.

Three steps

  1. 1

    Search the medication

Type a brand or generic name. We show whether Health Canada currently reports a national shortage, including the tier.

  2. 2

    See pharmacies near you

Share your location or enter a postal code. Each pharmacy card shows its stock status and a confidence score that fades as reports age.

  3. 3

    Reserve your pickup time

At partner pharmacies, sign in and request the medication with a pickup day and time window. The pharmacy confirms or declines, and you're notified in the app.

Good to know

Is it free?
Yes — MedSpotter is free for patients everywhere in Canada.
Is stock guaranteed?
No. Availability comes from Health Canada data, pharmacy updates and community reports. Always confirm with the pharmacy for urgent needs.
Do I need an account?
Searching is open to everyone. An account is only needed to report stock or reserve a medication.
