How MedSpotter works
Find a specific medication in a pharmacy near you — and reserve it before you leave home.
Three steps
- 1
Search the medication
Type a brand or generic name. We show whether Health Canada currently reports a national shortage, including the tier.
- 2
See pharmacies near you
Share your location or enter a postal code. Each pharmacy card shows its stock status and a confidence score that fades as reports age.
- 3
Reserve your pickup time
At partner pharmacies, sign in and request the medication with a pickup day and time window. The pharmacy confirms or declines, and you're notified in the app.
Good to know
- Is it free?

- Is stock guaranteed?
- No. Availability comes from Health Canada data, pharmacy updates and community reports. Always confirm with the pharmacy for urgent needs.
