How confidence scores work

The short version

Each pharmacy card shows a confidence score built from:

• Recency — a report from 10 minutes ago counts far more than one from 3 days ago
• Agreement — multiple matching reports raise confidence
• Official data — an active national shortage lowers it

When official data and community reports disagree, we show both rather than picking a winner.
